Cleancall Inc. is expanding- enters the UK, fifth-largest economy in the world

Amsterdam, the Netherlands: Today, CleanCall Inc., a consumer electronics company specializing in recyclable and fair-trade phones, officially announced that after operating for more than 10 years only as e-commerce in the electronics industry, they are ready to expand to the UK market and open a shop in London. In response to the increased demand for its environmental-friendly phones, the Netherlands-based company began the development process and is happy to take its products outside the Netherlands.

According to Saskia Gouw, one of the CEOs of CleanCall from the Netherlands, the company is not planning to stop its expansion with the UK and has huge plans for the future: „We are more than excited to expand our market outside the Netherlands and enter the UK market, especially when becoming a part of such a prestigious Westfield London community. Our values, purpose, and strategy have been foundational to our success, and they will be instrumental as we continue to build a world-class sustainable electronics industry."

The first retail store will be opened in „Westfield London“, one of the biggest shopping malls in the UK, and will be working 7 days a week from 10.00 till 22.00. The store will be combined with a repair service, thus the customers will be able not only to try the modular phones but use upgrade and repair assistance too. More information about the opening hours on public holiday and more can be found on their homepage at http:/

The grand opening of the store will take place on the 1st of June at 19.00. The store announced that along with the opening, there will be a premier giveaway- the first 50 people will be rewarded with a new recyclable phone model CleanCall Pro X, and the next 50 will receive a 50% discount on the store‘s repair services. Check out the website for more information about the premier or the giveaways.

According to the recent company‘s survey, many Londoners are positive about the CleanCall store opening in their city:

„I‘m glad that the world is becoming more conscious about the environmental and social issues, and companies such as CleanCall are clearing that out. Knowing that nowadays, almost every 13-year-old kid owns a phone, such an issue has never been so relevant.- commented one of the respondents.

-„ I‘m thinking of getting out of my comfort zone and buying the phone as I believe that would be a great example for my fellow friends and parents and would most probably inspire them to join the sustainability force too.“

Knowing that the UK electronics sector experienced the fastest growth of any other sector in 2018, such findings sound promising as the company will most likely be trusted by the London community.

About the company: CleanCall is a sustainable, conflict-free, and fair-trade company operating in the electronics industry. The company that was once found as an awareness campaign about conflict minerals developed into a revolutionary campaign that is trying to fight unfair practices and create a positive impact on how phones are made, used, and recycled. They offer recyclable phones and have already been well noticed in the Netherlands for their ethical business ideas and products.
