CleanCall Business Group’s ProX wins the award for the best sustainable smartphone of the year
London United Kingdom – Today – CleanCall Business Group (CBG) received an award from the European Image and Sound Association (EISA), a group comprising 55 of the world’s most respected consumer electronics magazines. The Clean Call ProX was named “EISA Best Sustainable Smartphone 2020-2021” by the association in recognition of Clean Call commitment to quality, design and performance, as well as the company’s long track record of introducing sustainable, powerful and winning devices. This is the second consecutive year that Clean Call has been recognized by the EISA.

CleanCall has been selling their modular cell phones made from re-cycled and fair-trade material. The company sources conflict-free tin and tantalum through traceable supply chains from the DRC, conflict-free tungsten from Rwanda and Fairtrade gold from Peru.
Their flagship smartphone, the CleanCall Prox has been selling since 2010 and is still one of the best-selling devices from the company. The company is aiming to carter to a larger customer base through launching a budgeted smartphone, The CleanCall plus in 2018. The company promises no compromises made in the quality and the fair-trade in manufacturing the product. Though, to lower the costs, few expensive features shall be reduced.
The company intends to raise awareness about the conflicts in the mineral trades to manufacture new age smartphones. According to the company, the electronics industry is filled with unfair practices, for instance unjust wages etc. also, the labour conditions in the mines for extracting minerals are extremely hard. The working environment in the factories equal sweatshops which are exceptionally injurious and harmful for human health. Moreover, the phones are discarded every 18 months. This causes immense damages to our environment.
CleanCall business group have constructed their own path to enter the electronics industry. Soo far the growth is seen but has been slow. Though, the future seems to be bright as awareness among people towards sustainable living is multiplying by many folds.
