INTERNAL BLOG POST FOR CLEANCALL EXPANSION TO UK

Good afternoon my dear colleagues! Hopefully you were all introduced to our intranet, which will become more and more interactive in the following moths, as we are finishing up the procedures for an expansion to the United Kingdom. These are exciting news for our company, as many opportunities might occur for you, our experienced employees’ to apply your knowledge of the company and take a more managerial position in the UK.

What this means to be more exact?

Well, as we move to a new market, a lot of new factors and variables might take place and change the way we operate. For this we need experienced employees in the finance, logistics and marketing departments, that already know the roots, of how our company operates, and can base on their knowledge, when building and executing operational plans in the United Kingdom.

The exact marketing positions required:

· Marketing Manager

· Marketing Analyst

This marketing do should be made from people that have already been working for CleanCall, and can quickly pick up where they left off in the Netherlands.

Your main tasks: exploring and implementing new and adaptive ways of marketing for both of our phones in the UK (Social media, Live events, Billboards, TV ads). As experienced employees, you will have more freedom and more responsibility for our brand image, which of course will result in higher paychecks. 😉

The exact logistics vacancies:

· Inventory Manager

· International Logistics Manager

The people who have been with us for a while and have worked on our complex supply chain, that allows us to call ourselves “A sustainable phone manufacturer” can now utilise their knowledge and expand to international grounds. We need logistics workers, who can buld on the already existing supply chain of Cleancall and develop it in a way, that would pave a path for further international expansion to other countries or even continents.

The exact finance vacancies:

· Financial analyst

· Finance manager

We are looking for a couple of workers, who have seen and worked with our books and know our system well. They would be assigned to the financial department for CleanCall UK, and would take on the main accounting and analytical procedures. As experienced workers, you will be allowed to design your team and work load on your own, sign employees from outside the company if needed.

As we believe that this expansion will be the next big step, that will help to spread the CleanCall phones worldwide, we are looking for employees from within the company. As a result, the people working in lower positions of Marketing, Logistics and Finance in the Netherlands would be trained and moved up to more managerial positions as well. I really believe that our workers are close and know each other better than themselves, and that is why the decision to move our best workers to the UK was made. We believe that the years working together have formed enough knowledge, to put the decision on who should be moving into your own hands, and that is why I am announcing these news through our intranet, as I believe that the best decision can be made here, with the help of ALL OF US.

For the upcoming week, I will be reading your messages and emails, on how are you tackling this expansion and how is the recruitment going. If no clear candidates pop up, or the current Netherlands employees do not want to work in the UK, we might then extend our search outside of the current company, to find the best employees possible.

What can we start doing now?

As the operations in the UK will start from the New Year, there is still time to brainstorm and tailor our expansion to be as efficient and innovative as possible. For this I will be opening a new blog thread called “Expansion to the UK!” where anyone, that has an idea can contribute. This way we can get the whole company engaged in the new (for us) UK market, and turn this expansion project into a team- bonding event as well. There will be separate parts for Finance, Logistics and Marketing, together with a General thread, where the ideas can flow free.

Hopefully, in a few weeks we will have the most innovative and effective expansion plan, the world has ever seen, and it will all be thanks to you people!
